Not too short. it true to size, not amazon size chart but the picture. I am usually between a 6 and an 8, and I order a Large it was perfect, not too tight and not too loose. Just perfect. I order another style from same company that makes the dress and I order a Medium, it fit tight. So read the site size charts its one of the pictures. Other than that it is a great dress for any summer evening event. Highly recommended.
